Fernando Botero made a name for himself with his exaggerated portraits, depicting people and animals in extreme disproportions. His “fat” statues can be seen all over Medellin, but mostly concentrated in Plaza Botero, right outside Museo de Antioquia where some of his most famous paintings reside.
