This was one of the first rainbows we saw in Iceland, and perhaps the first double rainbow. I remember our excitement when we first caught a glimpse. We stopped the car on the side of the road, and literally ran towards the seaside. It was windy, I heard the rustling of the wild grass mixed with our giggly shouts, as we tried to get closer to the rainbow. Did we think that a few more steps and we might be able to touch it? I’m not sure, but it marked the beginning of a wonderful journey.
